Re: updating a core system ??

as far as im aware everything gets stored on the hard drive or a suitable memory device a memory card may sustain a game but thats about it imo
you were a very silly boy selling your premium console go to the shops this instance and rectify this little glitch that you have forsaken for yourself and ill give you a pasting online soon
seriously though hope this helps

Re: updating a core system ??

thanks, i went ahead and bought it, it has updated the console and had a marketplace update which is stored on the memory card but it hasnt really taken up much space at .. less than 1mb

also updated nfs -carbon .. and i still have 51mb free on the card

as far as i can tell .. i dont think i will need the hard drive, unless i want to download stuff off the marketplace.

many thanks

paul

Re: updating a core system ??

If you do decide on getting a hard drive you can pick one up pretty cheap, someone was selling one on the sales forums here a few weeks ago and he took his price as low as £40 and didn't get any offers.
With the big hard drive coming out soon a lot of people will be selling the 20 gig one, i reckon you could pick one up for £20 in a few months
