G.O.W. Achievement matches

These really need to stop man!! You enter one accedently without a mic or jus don't listen an tell them all to stop talking, they leave you all bad feedback.
It ain't fair to people playing it for real too.

Anyone agree??

i dont talk to any yanks when online but i listen in with the mic off.
i wouldnt worry about rep, ive had 50 % bad rep for unsporting conduct.

but mines still on 5 stars so the odd bad rep will be nothing compared to the good rep from people from the forum.

I accidentally slipped into one of these the other night and before I had a chance to leave it they had launched it. Anyway, it was full of yanks all shouting at the same time so the one who's turn it was to "get his achievement" came up to us and I glitched him with the remote chainsaw glitch (I never ever glitch in normal ranked matches but this was an exception). I have never heard so many yanks explode at once, you would have thought I'd just burned the stars and stripes in front of em. Anyway I left straight after and now just waiting for the negative feedback to flow!

how will u know who gives u the rep?

I will be pretty sure it's them as no one else has any reason to really, not been glitching, leaving early and I certainly have not been kicking people's arse's enough recently to get the "****** off" rep when you pwn someone.

Must admit, I don't really give a crap about rep anyway, 99% of my games are with people on here.

actually mate when u think about it, if they give u bad rep it means they want to avoid u which means that u have a better chance of not playing them next time.

I've set up another xbox live account with a different profile, named JaketheE (lol). got the free one month gold subscription, so I may just enter random 'achievement matches' and mess them up, without worrying about my five stars.

Anyone wanna invite me to a player/ranked match they're doing, need to meet new people.... (hint, hint).

its not just GoW, I couldn't find my mic last week, and was playing uefa champions league on live, and I got negative feedback (presumably cos the guy thought I was just ignorning him).

i wouldnt worry about the rep, just ask a few people on your list to give u good rep to boost the stars up.

It's not fair but achievement matches are for people who lack the ability to get them properly, i have come across them I just give them some abuse about being cheats then I leave. I have never come across English people in these matches though.

It did start as Own but we have now decided it would be better to prawn someone instead. It's all Shuzzbutt's doing anyway!

Anyway, i'v never come across thoes matches, but i dont go on live that much. Are they becomming really common now or something?

I like the setting up a new accound to p**s people off idea though....

Im still on like 4 star, i get like no feedback although i was playing on live all last week :P anyone feeling kind

When my rep drops I just ask my team mates to submit a review so now im back up to 80%

I wouldn't worry mate my star's go up and down more time's than a prostitute's....well you know the rest, if i haven't allready mate i will put you on my preffered list....

TBH I didn't gain that much from the boost last night. 18 kills in 1 1/2 hours is pretty feeble even by my low standards. It was good fun and I got a warm fuzzy glow when Pete got 'Don't hate the Player', but it only got me 0.0324% closer to 'Seriously'.

Happy to help out, but I won't have any expectations of racking up loads of kills next time.

best mode for getting your kills or achievents imo is annex, as they will go for the points in the ring and u can just shoot them without worrying about them sneaking up on u.
plus u respawn in this mode so u will get more kills on this than any other mode.
19 round match would get u most of them easy.

AFAIK, Annex kills don't count towards 'Seriously'.

22 grenade tags.

is there no way of finding out how many boomshot and torque bow kills i have?

Im afraid not but as im sad I used to write my kills down, that way I knew where I was unlike when i went for the Hammer (god I hate that weapon) and I just kept picking it up and praying the achievement would unlock. It was relief when it did.

There will be annex related achievements added in the next update though, dunno if they'll be ranked or player match related though

i know, i tried it last night, shame really as we all could have got the achievements quicker.
dont know how many torque or boomer kills i need though.
