Opinions please! I want to go all out for the Seriously achievement in Gears of War. Currently at 4500 kills and counting. So I'm thinking all ranked matches from here on in - try to average 100 kills a night, should get it in a couple of months give or take.

Don't bother mate, come play with us instead and just get the achievement over time as and when. OR, spend some time sorting out your network so you don't keep getting booted everytime someone turns on the oven or something similar.

I'll get me sewing kit out then mate although I think 3 hours a night for two months is a little on the light side, I'm sure most of us clock up about 4 1/2 a night at least?

Don't do it EEC, that's 5,500 more kills and for what? 50 measly gamer points and geek-cred?

You'll end up stressed out & not enjoying the game in the end 'cos of the high *rs*h*l* count in Ranked Matches.

Far more sensible is to go down the Job Centre and pay unemployed people to do it for you at minimum wage.

Personally, I wouldn't focus on achieving it, just let it happen over time.

From what I read on here, you're obviously a very good player and want the achievement so just keep enjoying playing and you'll get it soon enough.

I've played not even 10 ranked games to be honest, just can't be bothered with it. My game is so up and down anyway, I'm not sure I'd want to see how I ranked against everyone else

You sure will mate - not sure we'll get many takers for 19 rounds Raven Down, but I think if we aim for say 12 rounds (ish) we should get some rooms filled fairly quickly. We might have to tactically lose a few rounds deliberately to stop people quitting.......if we pwn too much they'll just get the hump and leave.

No - 19 round games on RD fill up OK - they don't take long to play either. I had a game finish 4v4 the other night with 33 kills but had another finish 1v1 with 25 kills!

I also play regularly in ranked games with a couple of guys (not off AVF) and the host has a great connection - ususally its 9 round matches - we rarely lose. I'll try and get you in them - the banter is good too.

kop never finds me in ranked games because we are so mis-matched - isn't that right my very young padawan

I said no for the reasons that others here have said, you'll end up hating the game.

I have ~2500 kills in Warzone, the other night I decided to play a couple of ranked matches to start a slow slog towards 'Seriously'.

I got 5 kills in the first match and was completely f**ked off with the other idiots in the game after 30 seconds.

i haven`t voted yet as i don`t know what to vote for i have looked through all the do`s and donts, i do know you dont play friendly matches with us anymore which imo is a bad do its always a good crack imo i know we have had this discussion before.
I have a guy on my friends list gamer tag phd50 who just recently got seriously and he was on the game all the time as are much of us he would update his kills on his gamer sig eveyday i always thought it was a bit sad

I have just over 3,000 kills and when it comes it comes for me, i am not going out of my way blitzing the game for fifty gamer points or the pristige your better than that.
Whatever you decide to do m8 good luck in your quest your a good chap and if you want to do it. I love th game but i also love sitting in the beer garden with the lads getting trolleyed which imo beats any game or achievment there is
