xbox connect

I am trying to connect my xbox to xbc. I have sky broadband services with a Netgear DG834GT modem. I can connect to XBL and establish a connection through my PC using Vista ICS services but in XBC it cannot find my console.

Does anyone have any pointers. or have this particular modem with sky. I was told to disable windows firewall and enter my routers firewall services to open port 30744 UDP/TCP(or something similar) but that is not listed.

Any suggestions to what I should do?
