When I start it up, it will connect to Xbox live as I turn it on, I will start playing it, and during the middle of a game, ill lose connection, my game will shut down, and it will sign me out of xbox live. I thought it was the cord, so I bought a new one, I thought it fixed it, but about an hour later it happened again. Its still doing it. All i have to do to reconnect to xbox live is unplug the Ethernet cable, plug it right back in, and it logs me back in, but only for a short period of time.. Im running my xbox directly to my modem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like it could be a problem with the cable running from your router, to the microfilter. Might be worth replacing it .

Does your internet cut off as well?

Thats what I thought it was. I replaced it, and it still had the problem. internet to my comp runs fine. im connected directly to a modem, no router
