Xbox Live hogging bandwidth

Hey, so we have 10mb broadband from Virgin, a WGR614 v9 router and a Virgin modem. I live with two other guys and we all have wireless connections to the internet from the router. The xbox is connected by an ethernet cable directly to the router, and the problem is that whenever I go on Xbox live, my housemates internet on their laptops is very, very slow.

Is there a way to solve this problem? Like is there a way to limit the xbox's usage of the bandwidth or prioritise the wireless connections over the xbox so that we can all get a good connection?

i think that setting up the QoS (Quality of service) should go some way to help resolve this.
you can find this in your router setup

My router doesn't have QoS, is there any other way?
