I bought some of the Dead Space upgrades over Live but i have to be connected to Live to continue playing the game now.

Why is this? Is there a way round it?

I think some other games require to be connected to Live to play DLC too.

Have you recently had your 360 fixed or upgraded ??

If you cant play stuff while offline it usually means the licences have changed.
You can use the DRM Tool on Xbox.com to transfer or go to your download history and re-download everything you have purchased. This will only take a few minutes as it wont download it all just the licence

My Elite died on me a month ago while i had friends over for a gaming session so we went out and bought another and just swapped the hard drives over.

I haven't registered it yet.I did wonder if if was something to do with that

Go to your download history then and redownload your dlc and then try using it offline should work as normal then

Deftones advised me to do that earlier in the thread so i have and now i am wading through my DLC again.
