Anyone know a quick and easy way to see if a gamertag you fancy creating is available? I`m sure its in this forum somewhere in the archives but I`m feeling lazy today and just know there`s someone helpful out there ;-)

Go to www.xbox.com - if you're automatically signed in, then sign out...

Then sign in again, but with a different Windows Live ID (I just tried it using my girlfriends), then you can check which gamertags are available. If you don't have a girlfriend or any mates, you can just create a new Windows Live ID instead
