Mobile Broadband Usage Limits & Xbox Live

Hi,
a friend has recently moved house and is in rented digs for a few months.... he's missing his xbox live and is thinking of getting a 3g mobile broadband thing for a while to tide him over.

What usage allowance will he need if he's planning on playing online for a couple of hours each evening?

Re: Mobile Broadband Usage Limits & Xbox Live

I don't know about the usage allowance, but from what I've heard these 3G mobile broadband connections can be quite high latency (a few hundred ms at least), meaning it's probably not great for gaming.

Re: Mobile Broadband Usage Limits & Xbox Live

I used to have a N1 Vision router which tracked useage. In a average session in 1 night I used about 100mb in downloads.
