Okay what about an informal time trial - open to suggestions. I`m thinking Radical SR3 around Brands.

Post your best time - up to the individual regarding aids etc - I don`t think there is any advantage to be gained. Personally will be Pro - manual - no aids but the more the merrier.

Please post in this format - example -

AVF_SportBilly || Radical SR3 || Brands Hatch || 1'40.02 || W or P
Obviously w or p for wheel or pad.

Not set on the Radical at Brands but it seems a decent one to start with - pretty quick but not the out and out maddest. If people prefer we could always try something a little tamer to start with so that it is more about getting the lines right than controlling the car ? Perhaps a front wheel drive WTCC car to start ?

Just for fun at the moment unless Poon wants to work his magic

Cracking time with the wheel nick.

Could not match that with the wheel i know although not tried it yet. Would defo be easier than forza 2 with wheel as cars have tons of grip (mayb too much,imo) in race pro.

Using abs now since discovered u can only mod brake pressure down to 80-90% depending on car which is not low enuf unlike Forza to get good feel.
That was about 6 laps last night will have another bash soon as not long home from work.

Had another 8 or so laps and improved my time, but ruined a lap with a split of -.550 at the end there. Going to pub for a bit so no more improvements for me tonight.

Will dig out the wheel sometime if i can see how close i can get. Pretty sure i can get a low 01.28:xxx time, only spent 10 mins trying and was doing 01.30:xxx times constant but i know where i can gain those extra tenths.

Think thats all the times posted so far in order just to get an idea of how we are doing, seems pretty close overall although a second in a race can be massive.

The FCC would be an excellent idea, i'd run it as before with the PGR4 one but i'm movin house tomorrow and unsure how long i'll be without broadband etc. If someone need the spreadsheet(which will auto sort places, points(if needed) etc) then give me a shout

Good Idea i don't mind running it til your conection is sorted out. Will just use thes thread but keep an update of the leader board and you can run a proper FCC when your ready.

Best time so far is a 1.26.7 something all aids off.

Dont know if it's old news but if you want to restart a lap quickly: press pause then go to 'return to garage' then 'drive'

Yeah but i dont like to restart as my better laps always come good after about 5 laps. Im Sure the tyres are warming up as its well twitchy at first, seems more planted after a few laps but mayb thats just getting to 'grips' with it.

Tried again but couldnt get near my time, find the Rad tricky on that track, and theres always too many laps, end up getting worse after about 20mins of solid laps.

Very Nice time, but what do people think is the best Legit time on the board? im thinking a mid 1:25 must be about the best. Wish it was sorted so we know therefore dont work too hard on tt's cos all will be wiped soon,
Know how it feels as had all of hotlap done on forza before the wipe.

All done agin tho.

It would be nice to get an FCC going - I see C225 has offered to update things for now and update an FCC table once we start one

Suits me as I don`t get on the boards that regularly so would be letting the side down a little on the update front.

and i'm sure you will. My second best time is something like 1.29.050.

However, i knew if i strung a decent lap together i could start to compete as i was up on my ghost at so many different areas only to blow it on others.

Not at all - please do. As I said I don`t get chance to get on here too much particularly in the week - self-employed and not really at a computer at work very often.
