this should probably wait a while until the legal people have had a chance to get to know the maps or the illegal people will have a huge advantage.

Yeah I was just more wanting to get a feel for ow many people we could get involved

Everyone's gonna need a week or two to get used to things, but there is no harm in us all pulling together and sorting out some kind of format so that we can get a decent tourney going when the time is right!

It's been a week, are we getting one going then?

I'm thinking a wee wingman tourney myself.

If we get enough in I will start setting up some rules.

Doesn't have to be wingman, just think we can get more teams this way : )

I personally wouldn't enter a compy with the way the MP is.

Maybe if it was limited to 2v2 or 2v2v2 wingman, that'd keep the network overhead down enough to make it playable.

Things have massively improved in the last week or so for me. If we ended up having Private Matches, then they appear to have been relatively flaw-free as I had a few last Saturday with no problem. I've even managed to get regular Horde MP Games by joining public matches withiout hassle.

That said, I'm always up for something if it were to be arranged

I would certainly be up for that Wendellgee REM, should you manage to get something organised. Any format. GOW2 is amazing despite the glitches.

Forgot all about this, I just can't do it

I've not played online for ages, Gears 2 ruined my xbox 360 gaming enthusiasm as a whole. Not properly played anything for weeks now

Anyway I don't think this is a starter, but does anyone have gears 1 and fancy some sort of competition, if so let me know, I really fancy getting that back out and playing it some more
