Yeah this is a much easier song, i just had a few goes yesterday and already got 250k+ on expert so 10 stars already, but prob wont beat that for 11.

Heh, I had to ask that a couple of days ago. Its a Full Combo, or more simply 100% of notes hit.

It's not just hitting 100% of the notes, it's not breaking the multiplier either

you can overstrum i.e. hit every note in the first half of the song, strum when there's no note mid-song and then hit every note 'til the end of the song, you'd still hit 100% of the notes but you'd break the multiplier

If you strum in a "blank" area of the note chart, but still hit all the notes, it will register as 100% of notes hit but because you did not get a note streak equivalent to the full length of the song (because the streak counter resets to zero), it cannot be classed as an FC.

yes, I always thought FC= 100%, but I completed PAint it Black on Medium and new I had screwed it , only to get 100% notes at the end and 5 gold stars - was most confused for a time

There are all difficulties represented in this tourny so all of us will have someone to battle with as the rounds progress. at best i will scrape top 5 so that gives me an idea of who i need to compete with.

I just have to say Bravo and thanks to guns for organising this tourny. Even with not enjoying playing "Story of My Life" I still managed to improve from 3 to 5 stars on hard and have done the same on "Bulls on parade" so the encouraging thing is that even after thinking I`d reached my limit with this game it looks like I could be slowly improving. I`m miles off the top echelons but hope to establish myself in the middle of the rankings this week. The missus is out at her parents all day and wont be back til relatively late tonight so I plan on getting home early and spending an hour on GHIII to see if I can improve my current score of 163,884 on Hard. I`m pretty confident I can beat it and might even see how I fare on Expert!

Quick question - is it better to post a 7 star Hard score or a 6 star Expert score? Both give you 9 stars at the end of the day.....
