So who had fun driving the boat then?! Never before have i had to drive a car that doesn't turn or stop as badly as that Caddy. Anyway we have a familiar face atop the leaderboard again, Mr czechmate wins again, although Buzz did do his best to try to stop him, although not 'legally'!

Final week of the season this week so no vote needed, but i need to ask about the next season, do you want one? if so do you want it to start right away or have a weeks break?

Welcome to the 2nd FCC for PGR4, for all you who have competed before its the same format as before so go get your racing gloves on and lay down some laps. For those who are new keep reading and i'll try to answer some common questions.
The FCC(Forum Car Challenge) is a competition that uses the time trial section of the game
Each week we will run a different track and car class(decided by a vote), the track and class are always in the subject of the thread
Yes anyone can enter

You can run as many or as few laps as you like

Laps must be run in a Car, not on a Bike

You must post your time in THIS THREAD for it to be counted.

When posting your times please post them in the following format: 1:12.34sec

If you don't have 'live' you can still take part but photographic evidence may be required to verify your time.

When posting an improved time please create a new post. Do not update your original post.

Please send a friends request to PooonTangster if you wish to enter, this will make it easier to check your times

Winner of each round will receive 1000pts. The amount of points that you score will depend on how far behind the winning time you are. To score any points you will need to run a time that is no more than 10% slower than the winning time. e.g. if the winning time is 1:00.00sec then the 10% cut-off point would be 1:05.99sec so any time slower than this would not score points.

This round will close at midnight Saturday 7th March

Shame it wont last as i allready see some people from here that are 3 seconds ahead of me

Still i'm sure i can do a bit better as that time involved a crash at the harpin.

1:34.68 currently just ahead of my mate. (and i mean just)

Deffo the best/most fun round so far.

There's something strangely satisfying about nailing the first chicane. i can see the last corner causing some heartbreak (or more likely broken equipment)

Its gonna be a long week. cant decide what car to drive at the moment.

Started in the alphabet mercedes but the back tyres dont seem to have any tread on them.
had a quick bash in the murcielago and its got potential but i just haven't tapped into yet. I may persevere with because its very user friendly.
i.e 2nd gear change up (put the kettle on) engage third.
3rd gear change up (mow the lawn) engage fourth.

The diablo is much easier to drive and i am more consistant with it, but it just doesnt have the legs of the merc on the straights.

Both competitive cars though.

Also, the porsche drives like a dream but is a fair bit slower sadly.

I'll start off my 4th round with a 1:35.80 Ferrari F355....The only one in the top 50 Cant see another 2 secs out of my fav D class car though.

I always like to try and put in a good lap with a car thats not on the top of the leaderboards..I get more satisfaction placing in the top 30 with a slower car than to be in the top 10 using a dominant car.

having serious issues in the slow chicane...just cant seem to get through it wihtout losing a ton of time.

Theres maybe another second to be had from this car but not too much more.

The no.1 spot will definitely go this week, hopefully by a couple of us.

One of whom may be Canadian at a guess.

Wrong thread I know but anyone up for some races tonight or later in the week. Its been far too long since I've played online and would like to get back into the online racing side of things. 9 o'clock onwards always suits me best.

Haha...I plug myself in everynight and learn something new.

I'd like a touch of racing as well but it would have to be at the weekend. (Forza as well). As much as i like a bit of FCCing you can't beat a good tear up on the track.

Anywho 1.33.50 in the alphabet car.
Have been up on that ghost as well so it may not be as long a week as i suspected.

Right well my connection dropped while I tried to register a 1.32.65....not happy

So i tried again and I have an off line time of 1.33.00 and will post a pic if I can't beat it. BUT i'm off to Barcelona on Thursday for the rest of the week so i'm a bit stuffed. The 1.32 will be beaten I have no doubt, but it would have been great to have a #1 for an hour or two again

That happened on me in the first season. Fortunately I managed to beat the time which wouldn't upload and take the #1. However, you might not be as fortunate if your going away on Thursday. Bad Luck.

On the positive side, Barca is a cracking place. I went last year and we had a great time.
