Cross game tournament - titles and interest

I'm still musing the opportunities for the next tournament, I think Gears of War on it's own will drag and doing anything cross-game is going to be a bit of a nightmare

- but, in the interests of fun and variety, lets give it a go

.

The vote is for Titles you A: Own, B: Will definitely own, C: Are willing to purchase to play in the tournament (Please say if C).

Don't expect anything with scoring yet, this is purely to gauge interest + usable titles. I can tell you it would involve a small number of teams (4-6) with large numbers, and those with 1 game or 10 could still take part.

I know there's a HUGE list of titles on the poll, which would make the tournament last a very long time to use them all (which it probably wouldn't) and events for multiple games would probably take place at the same time (depending on Team size).

Anyway, poll and post away. This poll is open to EVERYONE who would be interested in taking part, but you must be an active member of both AVForums and Xbox Live (along with being relatively polite and relaxed).

I've got R6:V, GOW, COD2/3 etc. but haven't played them online much and will be pretty pants. Would give them a bash though.

Good on you if you can get it going, think it would be a great idea; has variety/longevity & could have genre winners as well as an overall leader. I'll shut up now & make some poll selections....

I reckon give it 3-4 weeks & alot of us will be back playing gears & gagging for another tournament.

It would appear it doesn't matter what other games we try (Vegas, GRAW2, Lego, Command & Conquer, HALO

) we all end up sticking Gears in and playing that.......it is still an amazing game.....I've never known a game have such a lifespan (for me anyway)......I reckon we'll still be playing this in another 12 months time, because I don't see ANYTHING on the horizon to stop us playing it (COD4 = perhaps, Unreal Tournament = maybe)....

To be honest, despite my previous confirmation that I would never stand in a midnight queue for a game ever again, I will stand in an all-day queue for GoW2.....Simple. As. That.....Fact! Now THAT is gonna be THE next big game for the 360 (imo)

Only because more people have it at the moment i'd say. I have GOW but aren't really fussed about playing it. As I own it I stuck it down though. I'd much rather play Halo 3 or Sega Rally for that matter.

I've only got GOW from that list, but am considering buying COD 4, PGR 4 or TW 08 - will definitely buy 1 of them, probably PGR 4.

How about Lost Planet as well? It can be had pretty cheap now

It's not very popular, I couldn't even get anybody for friendly games when I tried some time back! I enjoy the odd blast of Lost Planet but the online side is going quiet, I guess most people are moving on

Is anyone up for keeping score on various events for this? Thinking of doing mini-events inside a big tournament (have 2-3 game series running at a time) but it'd be a pain to keep track of myself.
