Ok then, lets get the ball rolling :D


1) Matchday fixtures will appear in this thread.

2) Games must be completed before 11:59pm on the Sunday of that week. Fixtures will be published on a Monday. If a game is not completed then both teams will get 0 points. If I receive a pm from one of the players requesting a re-schedule prior to Sunday 11:59pm I will move the game to the following week (or later if necessary).

3) You play each team 4 times.

4) 2 points for a win (in normal time or overtime), 1 point for an Overtime Loss

5) 5 minutes per period.

6) At the end of the season, the top two sides will play each other in a best of 3 match.

7) Remember to name goal scorers

8) This is just for fun, enjoy it

ok, i've given us a little longer than a week for 1st games as we are nearly halfway through week. If we are finding that we are playing games early then there is no reason why we cannot play the others fixtures earlier than scheduled

sinky. just an idea but wont it be best to create a league in the game and then use this thread for fixtures. just thinking of the achievement points for people. im ok which ever way is best for you as your organising it

Right ive set up the league and sent invites out to all within NHL 10. Sinky and Mendes as soon as you accept my friend request, i'll invite you into the league to. I'll make you GM as well sinky .

You will all need to select your teams on accepting the invite too.

FIXTURES: All you need to do (i believe) is go to xbox live, my leagues, select the league 'AVF Otters Cup 10'. Then go to league standings and select a person's name and you should be then able to send a league game invite.

I'm not expecting to win any of my games, I'll be quite happy if I can score a goal in each of them

My online 1v1 record is appalling 26 games, 3 wins (one of those because the other guy lost connection) 16 goals for, 75 goals against

Only another 136 games to go till you get the Cheevo for 100 goals scored online

My record is not much better though not played for ages 1v1. I think its something like 6-8-1 and not sure what how many goals, though i do remember scoring 4 when i got the cheevo for beating an NHL team with an AHL team. That was one of the best 1v1 games i've ever played, especially as i came back from 3-1 down. I believe a woke Sam up that night when the winning goal went in

Does it include all goals online, or just vs matches? I know I've score 50ish with my BAP player and a couple in the league, so if it does I'm half way there

I actually scored 3 unanswered in an offline game last night and just ran out of time to get the 4 unanswered cheevo, sadly that's probably the closest I'll get to it

I miraculously managed to get the score whilst pulling the goalie and no penalties in an online match in the same game the other day. I've been trying to get the no penalties one for ages and never managed it, don't know how I did then. The pulling the goalie one was a complete fluke, was waiting on a delayed penalty to start a power play, before the penalty could come into force, I scored just as the keeper was going off the ice for the extra man Never have managed it otherwise.

Just looked up the 100 goals one, its for Online verus Play, so thats 1v1. I think i've done the 4 goals one, though not sure. The pulling goalie one, i cheated abit, waited till the computer pulled theirs, gained possesion, then pulled my goalie . I think the hardest achievement to get looking at the list is 'All Play - Complete and win an online versus play ranked match with 3 guests on the same xbox console'. How are you going to do that unless you have 3 friends which have the game and live near you. I can't eveb try and cheat to get it as i only have 3 controllers No penalities one i just played it safe and accepted that i may lose the game to get the cheevo

Since both Zeeks and Richie have left, are others still interested in playing on and starting again?. I still would like to play 1v1 as it's a great game. If we get 4 people interested then i'll sort out some new fixtures.

Im still up for this Sinky. Like a fool i only created the league for 6 teams, though seeing as Richie and Zeeks have pulled out, we can rest the league within NHL 10, and start again. Saying this i will have to kick Richie & Zeeks out, to make room. Hope thats ok . So we can keep the same teams as before.

Sinky, we could still do with another player for the Otters BAP Team, feel free to join. To be honest before this years game i only ever played 1v1 but this year ive really got into the BAP (especially online).

Absolutely, BAP is great, don't worry about being rubbish, you'll fit right in

We lose way more than we win, we don't take things too seriously, we're mainly in it for the fun, which it most certainly is
