Calling all AVF Noobs.

Please feel free to join the Noob brigade by: sending an FR to AVF Noobs.

Remember, AVF Noobs tag is not just for COD. Once we get a weekly time/day we can vote on the choice of game.

The poll above will give us an idea of what is the best day/time to meet up and hopefully generate some interest. I haven't put the weekend down as there are some other AVF tags that meet up and i don't wont to tread on any toes. I think the Mike Myers tag meets on Sundays and the AVF COD one meets on Saturdays? The AVF Noobs tag was created for noobs, so please can we have just relatively new/unskilled players for now.

We only have 11 friends on the tag at the moment, so come on you noobs put your name down. There must be a hell of a lot more than 11 noobs.

I don't want to rule out help from the good players? This could be a godsend when playing TDM. I don't want to alienate any of the great people on here that have been a constant help.

Please can i have your thoughts/suggestions.

Sounds a good idea i only have a few games at the moment and i could maybe do most nights. Won't be playing every night but don't have things on in the evenings, best later on in the evening though.

What about if we post what games we have to see what we can match up with everyone.

I won't vote then as i haven't a set night

COD5 Beta

Games i plan on getting:

Gears Of War 2
Mirror's Edge (Not really online, but you can time trial against each other)
COD5

I'm open to suggestions on other multiplayer games.

I've heard BFBC is very good so might add that to my growing list.

Any time for me as I'm usually about, although Friday nights I usually play GoW with the regulars.

Games I own:

GoW
Halo3(absolutely awful at this game and rarely play it for that reason)
CoD5 Beta(haven't really touched this one yet, as above)
GTA4
Grid
PGR4
Flatout: Ultimate Carnage
Sega Rally(just now received this one so not started on it yet)
Forza 2(I really do stink at this one, only have 40/1000 so far)
Frontlines: Fuel of War

That's it for now, GoW2 will be the next one on my list.

I can play pretty much any night, though I have more trouble with weekends as I'm quite often doing other things then. I'm happy for a Monday night meet, seems a good way to end an otherwise miserable day , though any weeknight is cool with me.

I'm a big fan of Halo 3, and while I'm not ace at it, I can hold my own from time to time. Call of Duty 4 I've never really invested the time to be any good though I wouldn't mind, and Gears I'm a bit clueless. Would be good for us to meet sometime for GoW2?

Driving games, I think GRID is ace online as is PGR4, wouldn't mind a bit of Burnout Paradise either.

Keep us up to date! If you think we need more members, perhaps we could sort out a specific night where it's arranged through the tag, and drop a note in the play & help thread of the game(s) we'll be playing on the night. Interest would soon gather I bet... I've done it a few time here myself in the past. Only a thought, I don't mind helping out where I can.

Just posted in the other AVF Noobs thread introducing myself and I've just sent a FR to AVF Noobs.

Personally, my game playing time is usually 7-9pm week nights and as and when during the weekends.

I've got BFBC on the PS3 and ventured online with it, big mistake! Kept getting killed and I didn't even know who was shooting at me. Kinda sums up my skills in that game!

Looks like GoW2 is on most people's list so will probably get that as I loved the first one (offline).

Unfortunately not. If I do get back into online gaming then I may well get it though as it does seem to be the number 1 online shooter (until GoW2 ??)

GOW2, COD4, FIFA09, PGR4, BF:BC. Usually play for an hour most nights 8:80 - 9:30 then go mad on Friday night. 11pm till fall asleep.

I voted Thursday but usually play for a cheeky half hour or so most nights in amongst uni work

Hey folks also just signed up and sent a freind request to AVF Noobs, any night is good for me really even sometimes during the day as i work offshore so when i'm home my times my own, games i've got are, COD4, PGR4, Halo3 and Blazing Angels 2. Mainly Playing COD4 at the moment, but still not very good..

Well i really want to start playing online more, and getting better, i really suck!
But any is good for me normally probably the later but not too worries, and weekends arent usually any good for me.
