Count me in please - I had this on 360 last 2 years when you were all playing on PS3.

After initially not being too wowed with the demo I kept noticing little things and how it just feels better and more natural.

Don`t mind where I play really - but maybe a left handed right winger for those top shelf shots over stick side (or not !).

Looking forward to this.

Cheers Team

Who likes the new 'spotlight' when you get a goal?
Anyone notice there's a 'ride the stick' celebration too

Added ssb

If we do go to two teams at first I would suggest we keep the ps3 team together, seeing as everyone of them have acquired a xbox now to play on there lol. See how it goes though like dalby says.

bah! Is that just for the demo then?

EDIT: I've had a quick go tonight and was riding that stick like a trooper. I even got the guy waving at one point :-). You just have to press the button as soon as the spotlight appears...

I can see this growing old very quickly, except for the scorer lol.

i agree it works, though as goals are less predictable this year, you have to be quick in the buttons which im not doing well at, thats the celebrations not the scoring bit i have noticed on normal setting even on pro its alot harder to score, and goals need to be earned which is good. i like the forwards jumping over the puck when theres shoots from the point.

You're telling me The 2 on 1 cross crease passes are a LOT less likely to result in a goal. 9/10 the lone D man will intercept.

I think it'll be easier against humans though

It's a shame in 10 they didn't have a dedicated goalie tutorial/practice mode. I think it would have encouraged more people to persevere with it as it's a very interesting poisition to play.

I usually did ok, but 2 or 3 'soft' goals would sneak through in most games. Queue the howling and derision by you teammates!

Hopefully this is something they have added for 11.

playing goal is fun and its not too bad keeping position though it when you have to move quickly, im not good at that. same for penalty shoots its so easy to go one way & be completely out of position.

btw: good win for the panthers last night. Zeeks i think you'll beat us tonight especially if we dont keep it simple. Zion is looking a quality signing, especially converting two penalty shots in the shootout with game on line

Watched last nights match mate and what a brilliant game it was for first game of the season. Both teams looked really good and I think will be the ones challenging for the title (until your lot end up chocking and handing the title to the Giants )

it certainly was, and great advert for the league. i thought at 2-0 down we were out of it, though we showed alot of grit and hussle, forecheck was awesome at times. worse bits for me were when we tried to force the play instead of making the safe play out of the zone or dump it in. i think the league will be tight this year and as always it'll come down to winning the away games against the so called lower teams.

You going tonight?

I'm following the Bracknell Bees as usual. They've got an interesting Roster this season.

Well, interesting to me

It's a good mix of young and old talent.
The new coach (who was previously in charge of the youth team) is now the main coach and is set to blood a few from the Hornets this season. It'll be interesting to see how they slot in with the more experienced players this year.

Pinc (103 pts) and Cesky (112 pts) are again icing this season.

Cardiff got batteres by Shuffield on Saturday and completely outclassed by Belfast last night, looks like the arena teams have spent some serious money this year.
