Well hopefully fingers crossed we will get to pre-order the sticks too. I know on Amazon uk at the moment you can pre-order the Madcatz joypads, so the joysticks should hopefully follow suit. It's just whether or not they believe there is a market for it...

A friend of mine at Sony was saying high street retailers are gearing up to delegate more store space to Gaming rather than music. Mainly due to the fact that the music is struggling through piracy, etc, etc (convo for another thread) and I guess a similar fate is attached to DVD's but not as harsh. The games industry however continues to flourish and it's not the nerd/boys toys market it used to be considered a long while ago. With that in mind, we may in time see things like the SFIV TE available in stores a lot more too. I remember I went to a local store probably Game or Electronics Boutique as it was then (such a dodgy name lol) back in day and walked in and picked up my Sega Dreamcast stick just like that. Now it's ridiculous trying to find the EX2 anywhere, even though it's had 4 incarnations!! EX2, VF5 stick, DOA4 stick and SC4 stick.. The last few Hori sticks I had for the Original Xbox I had to order from Lik-Sang, before the evil Sony forced them into closure.

Oh and just to add those of you looking for a good quality stick with custom choosen parts, check out www.arcadeinabox.com. It is very pricey but you do get a custom built stick with arcade parts such as Sanwa.. So if you're prepared to spend the cash check it.

They make the stick for either 360 or PS3 or you can have one built with both connectors attached. If the Real Arcade Pro.Ex and SFIV TE sticks aren't up to par I'm going to go for one as my main premium stick, keeping the standard Hori EX as a back or for friends who pass by.

guys i signed up to gamestop there charging $19.99 for shipping to uk which comes out around £13 and the Street Fighter IV FightStick itself is £54 not bad which add upto roughly £67
