WMV and Divx not showing from USB stick and External Hard Drive

It will recognise the portable hardrives as i can play MPEG4 HD video no problem. But and WMV HD and Divx files won't show up from both my USB and my 250GB WD Passport hardrive which is FAT32 formated. I have done the recent update and streaming Divx is fine.

Any help appreciated.

Go to the Media Tab, Select Video, once there press the Blue X button to change Video Source, you should be able to select your Memory Stick from there. Not to sure if it works with the External Drive though.

Yes I've done that. I can see the portable video and can select it. MPEG4 videos show up no probs but why are my divx and wmv hd files not showing?

They are on my portable hardrive as my laptop picks them up, and also the same files playback when streamed from my laptop.

Do you only have one partition on the external drive? Are the divx/wmv videos in the same directory as the mpeg4 files?

Yep they are in the same directory. Still cant figure this one out.

can you tr moving a single movie to the root of the drive and retest - some people have seen weird things with folder sturcture or total folder volume being over 4GB - not each file as of course fat32 wont go over 4gb per file but the total size of all files in a folder exceeding 4gb. I personally dont havent seen this issue a but its worth testing.

What are the file extensions? They must be .avi and .wmv to show up (.divx and .wmvhd won't show up iirc)
