Hi all. Booted up Forza 2 started playing and the colours went all crazy. I saved and turned the console off. I was on for 2-3 mins tops. Booted up and no picture. just white dots moving around the screen. Sound is okay.

Now i'm guessing it's the GPU....but I've got no red rings so does that mean i've got no warranty?

I bought the 360 online from Game in Jan'06.

Any ideas? will it eventually go to three red rings so I can get it fixed for free?

I'd just send it back. tell em you got the three red lights, don't think they will check it, they are swamped with returns at the mo.

It is my first time here on the avforums, so this is my first reply.

Go back to GAME and explain the problem to them, and hopefully they should be able to replace the machine with a new one.

My own experience although not with a games console is where i purchased a dvd/hdd recorder from richer sounds and the machine was giving me big problems with the picture whereby the picture was jumping and they refunded me.

Mine went Red Lights so arranged collection, remember left a game in it so had to turn it on to get game out. No red lights (presume as it had not been used for a few days) but sent it back anyway - no issues.

Preume as its heat releated, they expect them to be OK when they arrive. Give it a go.
