Into the back of the cable going to the tv.

Edit to clarify: Right where the cable plugs into the console.

Re: where does Optical Cable plug into the 360?

its the av cable but only if you have the component or vga version. with the standard composite cable that comes with the core version you dont get the optical jack!

Re: where does Optical Cable plug into the 360?

well yes i guess but if you care about how it looks at the very least you need the rgb scart cable or if you have a hd screen then you need the component or vga cable!!!!

Re: where does Optical Cable plug into the 360?

Argos are doing an Avanced lead for under a fiver. I have this lead and can report it has an optical port and is well made.
or the RGB scart version at only £2.99

Re: where does Optical Cable plug into the 360?

Also to add, you dont need to spend that much on that cable from Amazon. You can pick an optical cable up for a couple of quid on ebay. There is no loss of quality with cheaper optical cables as they are meerly a fibre optic cable. The signal either gets there or it doesnt so no loss from poor quality materials etc
