Hi

Can anyone help, have just bought Splinter Cell 4 and started to go through the training section and all was well, when i started to play the single player main game the sound kept/keeps dropping out, i am using an optical lead connected to a Denon AVR3802 amp and this is the only game this happens to. Every minute or so the digital Dolby Digital light on the amp goes off and the sound stops, it then comes back after a few seconds. This is the only game it happens to. Also all the game demo's i have downloaded (TW07, Fifa 07 and F.E.A.R) have stopped working and also Bankshot Billiards 2 now has a glitch in it when i load it up, the options (single player, XBox live etc) flash. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, would a hard drive re-format help, although i dont really want to lose my save games?!!
