Hi guys, sorry if this has been covered before but I was just wondering if someone could help me. I just received my Xbox 360 Premium and I'm going to try and attempt to get it working in HD format on my Screen. I have the Philips 26PF4310 Display:

Basically it doesn't have any component inputs and only a single DVI input with no VGA, I was wondering whether it would be possible to use one of these:

with the component HD cable that came with premium package and then plug that into the DVI port in my LCD TV? If not would i therefore need to purchase a VGA HD lead and a DVI-I to VGA converter? If both of these solutions are viable which one is likely to give me the best display on my screen? Many thanks in advance!

I use a VGA to DVI convertor and used a VGA cable. Works a treat.

i have a very similar model but i came with cable that was dvi to red green blue i just plugged them into my componant lead xbox came with usin straight thru barrels and for audio i got a splitter to bring L+R sound into the single 3.5mm jack on the back for audio in

yep i got the same telly, if you buy the official vga cable it comes with the necessary adapter for audio and just get a vga to dvi adapter from maplins or something and your sorted
