Problem with TV and 60hz - Any ideas?

Model No: CE28FWN5-B

An online buddy has his Xbox 360 connected to a Sanyo 28" Widescreen CRT TV, now as many of you will know some demos only work in PAL-60 mode on the Xbox 360 - this is where the problem is though, he says his TV picture changes gray and the image is jumpy. I just find it difficult to believe that the TV is incapable of receiving a 60hz signal as checking the model of it out myself its not THAT old and he said he bought it about 2 years ago.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?

I wasn't sure whether to post this in the TV section or not, but I figured Xbox 360 owners may have come accross this problem more so thought I'd get a better response here. Cheers for help.

Hmmm that's odd.. My Brother's also got a Sanyo (pretty sure it's a Sanyo) 28" Widescreen CRT TV. I have no idea what the model number is, but it's at least two years old and it had no problem coping with his 360 set to PAL-60 connected via an Advanced AV lead (RGB SCART). I'm also sure it handle's PAL-60 through its other inputs, but only displays NTSC signals in b&w.

Well tell him to get his ass down to Game or where ever and buy the RGB Scart Cable as what he is using at the moment provides the worst possible picture quality plus going RGB will no doubt fix his problem.
