You'd be pushed to get a decent one at that price.

Have you got speakers?

At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. It all depends on your standard I suppose, but I wouldn't expect too much from a £90 system. But then again, if you've never had a system before then it's going to be better than your TVs speakers.

If you can stretch your budget to around £200 you'll get a better system.

i could stretch the budget a bit but the missis will not be impressed i would prefer to get somthing cheaper to start off with and then spend a bit more in a year or so when we move house

I have it hooked up to TV, not tried the 360, will do tonight actually. It does take an optical lead. Mine isn't quite same as that, mine was 180 but that was about a year and half ago. It will be good mate, I would just go for that one.

Re: 5.1 for 360??

I bought the Logitech Z680 setup a while back from Amazon for £120 and I have to say it is a great system.
I've tried finding this system but I think it's discontinued now but the next step up is the Z5500 I believe.

Take a look here:

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...CONTENTID=9486

You can get these just under £200 and honesty, as they've made the ones I have even better, the sound will be great.

The only downside is that the sub is HUGE so you will need somewhere to place that.
Everything on them looks quality, from the satallites to the control centre (remote control is a bit naff but then again, it's a remote control).

It's a pity you can't get the Z680 syastem now as that would give you an immense system within your budget.
Promise her you'll cook, clean and grovel for the extra £70 and go for it, you'll be very impressed.

Don't know which one you mean (the logitech or acoustic solutions) but whichever it is, playing the 360 in 5.1 really enhances the games.

Thats how I've really improved at COD as, like you say, you can hear the "enemy" wherever they are

Re: 5.1 for 360??

I meant the acoustic solutions mate, didnt have much cash, but anything is an improvement over the tv speakers,

Definately helps when sneaking on COD as if they happen to be behind to the left you hear them in that speaker!

Re: 5.1 for 360??

Hey,

It is about 2month old so it is the newest version which also has DTs support to go with the Dolby Digital and Pro-Logic.

It is in as perfect as new condition bar 1 thing - 1 brackets for the surround speaker snapped - it has been fixed and works perfectly but just thought I would let you know.

I am selling because I need money to fund a car repair, this is at the expense of my AV gear.

I have a 4 yr old surround system in place at the moment!! The Acoustic Solutions set is about 5 million times better.

It is complete with all parts as it as new but I do not have the original box and packaging but I can get suitable boxing and packagaing from work to make sure it is all safe and secure.

I can take some photos when I get in from work tonight.

Re: 5.1 for 360??

Hi Nuclear,

Just discovered that my 2month old digital camera has stopped working for no apparent reason - it makes a clunking noise when turning on and all shots taken are blurred beyond recogition.

Back on topic though is there anything in particular you wanted photos of and I will try and describe them in as much detail as possible?
