Microsoft Wireless Network Adapter

Ive noticed that the Japanese and Asian Wireless Network Adapters are far cheaper than the Pal ones, anyone know if they will work on a pal machine?? I was under the impression the hardware would be the same but the software that would be built into the xbox would be different? anyone tried a non PAL one in a PAL machine

Re: Microsoft Wireless Network Adapter

Just don't buy a wireless adapter from the US - they have two less channels than we do (channels 12 and 13 are missing and this in turns can lead to interferance as there is one less unique, non-overlapping channel).

Not sure about Asia though - can someone from there tell us how many channels your wireless stuff has (either 11 or 13)

"Ordered one from MW about 2 weeks ago and arrived in under a week.
Cheers"

also..

"Got one from here the other day and it took less then a week"
