MCE Hi-Def movies - Resolution settings?

Hi. I'm using MCE to stream HD Movies via my 360 to my Panasonic TH42PX60 plasma. Question: If I have a movie thats recorded in 1080i (Kill Bill for example) and my dashboard is set to 720p, will the movie be rescaled somehow? Same goes for setting the dash to 1080i, then watching a movie in 720p. What res will I be seeing?

Thanks.

I believe this is the case, my movies are in 1080i but dash is in 720p. The xbox seems to rescale the movie in real time to fit. It looks a hell of a lot better than when i play it using my pc with no blurring or lines.
