Try changing the resolution to 1024x768 and if that doesnt work i suspect a dodgy cable
Good luck with it mate.

Unfortunately I think the VGA output from the 360 is a bag of sh1te.

I've used it @ 1280x1024 on a 17" Digimate monitor, and on a DELL 2405 (1920x1200 resolution) with the 360 set to 1368x768, and both made the colour look washed out and jaggies very evident.

The 360 looks great on a Sanyo 73 projector with a 1280x720 res, and I may try it on a 32" widescreen later - it will be using Composite, but I'll do just for an experiment.

I've personally come to that the 360 is only good on panels with 1280x720, it just scales so badly over any connection and looks washed out over VGA.

But most games shouldn't have to scale on a TFT set to 1280 X 1024, most add black bars top and bottom.

The 360 doesn't output the right aspect ratio for Halo 2 over VGA at 1280x1024, PGR3 didn't scale correctly ever for some mad reason.
