I will shortly take delivery of an xbox 360 and would like to try and capitalise upon it's HD output but am not sure if my current monitor is up to it. I have a Dell W1900 LCD TV/Monitor and the indications are that it is "HD compatible", which I am told means it doesn't give the best HD quality as I understand it connects up via the DVI socket instead of HDMI proper. I am also not sure if the leads to be supplied with xbox 360 allow me to link up via the DVI socket and have read in an unrelated HDMI article that I may need to get some sort of adapter?
If there is anyone out there who is using xbox 360 with a Dell W1900 then it would be great to hear from you on how it is shaping up and on whether or not there are connectivity issues I need to prepare for.

I am using that exact setup, I will say the Xbox360 component cables led to a very dark output. However I changed to the joytech vga (output at 1280x768) and it was perfect.
For HDMI (which the xbox360 doesn't support) you'd need an HDMI to DVI adapter.
