Anyone got any recomendations ( or one for sale?) as to where to get a decent priced and decent quality vga cable so i can connect the box to my LCD monitor?

I am thinking about getting one of these: http://www.hificables.co.uk/ProductD...1-3c0f79dfe2c7
Pricey, but the construction should be a step up from the official and the other third party ones... personally I think cables are an area worth investing in to get the best performance...
generally I prefer QED connectors and would get one of theirs if they did one, but the monster one looks pretty well made.

So is the general consensus that these VGA cables give a better picture than the MS Component leads I am currently using?

I picked up a MS VGA lead from Game in Bristol and have found it to make little difference, I could even say I prefer component.

I got a madcatz cable from Ebay.

Got stung a bit on the postage but overall not bad price considering demand.

Wanted for my computer monitor works fine and picture quality is spot on.

haven't tried it on any other screen monitor to compare with the MS component.

Also have one on order from play (JS tech version) but no movement on that order for 2 weeks!!

So overseas seems the place to go or Ebay but slightly inflated prices or over the top postage costs.

About a week after the launch I went on business to Germany. I walked into the first electriacl store I saw, and picked up a hard drive and a cable from the shelf. They had several of every accessory, right next to a large pallet of 360's.

Given what some people have paid for these on ebay, you might as well book yourself a budget flight to Munich and have a day trip.

I ordered my Joytech VGA cable on Friday (the 13th at about 12:30, while it said "Usually Dispatched in 24 hours"), it shipped on Saturday and arrived yesterday!

Well the description and picture are the Official Microsoft one, but I would email and ask the question.

From what I have seen the the general opinion is that the Microsoft one is the best one sub 20 quid RRP
