How do I search properly?

How do I use the search on these forums correctly?
For example I know there is a thread which has this as part of its title
"Colour and Screen Settings Thread"
But when I search for this I get back pages and pages of results. How do I search for threads that only contain those words in that order in the title?
I tried this "Colour+and+Screen+Settings+Thread" but this didnt work.

Any searching advice most appreciated.

Well, if you know that the words you're searching for are in the title, then you can search titles only.

Problem is the search/advanced search does not appear to let you search by "exact phrase" so you get hundreds of hits. I may be wrong on this but I had a look and could not find it.

Do an exact phrase search in Google (enclose query in quotes) and prepare to be amazed
