There are links to videos on how to use the track builder in the Trials Evo thread.

Have you tried raising a ticket/thread on the official xbox.com forums? I had an issue with something points related and they got on it really quick.

The May survey is up. It said you could get up to 6 questions but I only got 3.

The "points back" offer this month is get 80 points when you spend 240 on music related game add-ons during May.

No sign of my 300 points for the April promo yet, though.

That said, it does say that points in the Pending column can take up to 96 hours to appear, so it may simply be that they haven't yet processed them given that it's only the first of the month.

lol - I only got 2, I'm starting to think MS just doesn't really care about the surveys. I seem to be answering the same basic ones every few months too

Shame thats only on music related, would have been nice to get that back on say buying the Walking dead.

SO I wonder how long before we get are triple play points. I can't help but feel with MS poor tracking that its going to be a struggle, hence why i've kept a record of everything I did last month.

Someone asked about it on twitter:

when do we get the 300ms points for completing that Triple Play thing?

I really don't see how this "rewards" program I'd worth the hassle.
Most of it seems like a cash-back scheme.
And people don't seem to be actually getting the pints they've earned.

I'm waiting on 800 for signing up and however many it was for last months survey.

From the sounds of things I'll be lucky to see them this month and may as well leave the program.

It's not as though I buy much from the marketplace anyway.

The way I look at it is, I've got 1,360 MSP that I wouldn't have otherwise had.

The only points I've earned where I actually had to do something I wouldn't have already done are the 20 MSP for each survey. The surveys take 30 seconds and I do them when I'm browsing the web anyway. Even if I hadn't done them, I'd still have had over 1,200 MSP for free.

Everything else has been earned by doing stuff I'd do anyway - 200 MSP for renewing a Gold sub. 5% back on any purchases made in a particular month. 200 MSP for buying 2 XBLA games in 1 month. Things like that.

Exactly, i should be hitting the 1000 point mark real soon, not a bad amount of points for doing what you normally do. I'd rather have the scheme than not have it.

Just near 1500 for me. I should have 400 points shortly for doing the triple play thing and also using Netflix for the first time.

It's things like renewing memberships and buying stuff from the marketplace that I don't do.

I find it cheaper to get my gold sub online where I can also find deals (my last sub was 12+2 for £32.99).
I don't buy any DLC anymore as I'm fed up with the idea of it.
And I very rarely buy XBLA games. One a year at the very most.

So the only way for me to earn anything is through surveys.

Like I say, I think I'll leave the program because it's not for me considering most ways to earn points are through buying things.

What hassle? You sign up, once a month you do a survey of a couple of multiple choice questions and check what offers are around that month.

You get 200 MSP every time you renew your 12 months gold membership and 20 MSP for the survey. That alone has netted me 16*20 = 320 and 2*200 = 400 = 720 MSP.

Points are only deposited into your gamer account once you have 100 or more awarded. Then you have to wait until you get 100 or more again before the next batch are added. Pretty standard stuff in online business.

Sure MS do mess up from time to time and the whole scheme has not been without its fair share of issues, but overall its a great way of getting free points for very little effort.

It doesn't matter, I do the same, but they still award you 200 MSP.

The way I understood the renewal part was that you had to purchase you sub through the dashboard and not via prepaid codes.

And I didn't exactly mean hassle.
I just meant it doesn't seem worth it considering most of the ways to earn involve buying games/DLC/subs/renting movies.

I don't buy DLC, XBLA or games on demand, I don't use Lovefilm or Netflix and I buy my subs from a site where I can get them cheaper than buying through the dashboard (as I already explained, it's made to seem like you have to buy your sub through the dash to earn).

I don't see many offers involving playing games online.

Last month's Triple Play bonus offer required you to play a certain amount online to satsify the "Gaming" element.

If the scheme doesn't work for you, fair enough. I certainly wouldn't advocate anyone actively changing their gaming or usage habits and going out of their way just to accumulate points. For me, I've got around 800 points out of it, and another 300 from last months offer should be pending, all for doing or buying stuff that I would have done or bought anyway. For me, that' a bit of a no-brainer

But it won't work for everyone, I suppose.

I don't buy anything I don't want, just to get points back but I don't mind a little time each month for free points. I've had 450 back so far, just for answering a few questions and renewing my Gold. I only ever renew my Gold when they offer me a cheap deal anyway, so I don't miss out on that at all.

I agree that it's daft if you start spending lots of money just to get a little back - you may as well just buy points then, but if you know what you're doing then hey.

When you renew you gold sub, do you buy it through the dashboard or use a prepaid code?
And which way rewards you points?

I only ever use prepaid codes, and I've now switched to buying the codes through a site that offers them cheaper than shops and has specials like 12+ months for the same price as Play.com lists the standard 12 month sub.

I don't know if you know, but if you check the dashboard on the run up to your gold expiring, you can get some cracking renewal offers straight from Microsoft, often matching any prepaid price if not better. Even getting on the phone to ms threatening to not renew and switch to ps3 or something sometimes nets you a good 12 month offer.

I haven't bought a prepaid in two years because of this.

Me too. It took a while before the 200 MSP showed up, but it worked. I have never paid for Xbox Live in any other way.

That involves putting your card details on your Xbox, doesn't it?
A big reason why I will only ever use pre-paid codes.
Besides, the site I use(XboxLiveuk76) has great on-going offers.
Like the GoW3 12+2 months gold for £32.99, which is better than £34.73 on Play.com.
Even the standard 12 months is just £29.99, compared to £34.99 on Play.
I haven't bought codes from shops like GAME or even online from Play.com in about 3 years because of sites like these.

Anyway, I'm still waiting on 820 MS points from signing up and taking last months survey.
I just checked and they're still saying "pending".

You can buy through pay pal from the dash. I did 2 months for £2 you have to log in to pay pal and cancel the renewal.

I always wait until my gold runs out and then check the dash the next day. I have, without fail, always been offered either £1 for one month or £2 for two. I haven't paid more than a pound a month for about a year and a half now. I've earnt a small amount of points for each renewal too!

I renewed up to the maximum period allowed (2 years, I think?) when the well-publicised offer/glitch arose late last year offering a month for £1, but allowing you to buy it multiple times.

Each month, Rewards credits me with another 10 points on the basis that it treats each month I paid for back then as a monthly renewal.

The glitch that keeps on giving!

Used to use codes, but now I buy through the dashboard, and then go to Xbox.com and turn off auto-renewal.

I use this now - it's nuts how cheap you can keep renewing for. Now I'll never autorenew again. When my first year ran out, they offered me 45% off for a further 12 months. I would have been rude not to.
