what to buy

hi folks,

this is really aimed at all those who have the 360, ps3, and may be the wii....

I myself have a wii and ps3. i also have a ds!

I used to have a 360 but sold it for ps3... however i have reciently been considering buying one again. put it with the others.... i love fable and GOW, but in truth i am struggling to justify as to why else to bother!

Most games seem to be multi format (wii excluding) but i dont know if i should buy 360 or some top end games for the ps3 uncharted 2, infamous, ect.... and may be a new pspgo or some new wii and or ds games?

i work a fair bit and tend to play solo but do occasionlay go online.... i have no issues with the ps3 network.... i knnow some dont rate this.

advice on what to do.

one final thing i am happy to play zelda if not fable!

i will also try to put tbhis on the ps3 site as i fear biase oppinions...

Re: what to buy

On the games front check out the really recently voted for xbox 360 top 100 list as voted for by AVF members, then see if the ones you are interested in are exclusives or multiformat, watch the review clips etc to see if they are for you and make your own mind up, anyway the thread is here:-

I'd say late 2010 or 2011 if at all i think they were stuck for ideas so threw this out there to rouse interest , i don't think they will be able to produce it but that's my opinion

Re: what to buy

you sound exaclty like me.... up to Sunday i only had a PS3 & Wii but quiet fancied a 360 but needed to justify as like you said most of the top games are multi platform.....anyway i did justify it with games such as:

  • Fable 2
  • Left 4 Dead
  • GOW 1 & 2
  • Dead Rising
  • MAss Effect
so in the end it became worth it...so off i popped to game and bought myself a shiney new 360 elite.....havent really touched the ps3 since!!!

to top it all i also bought (should arrive today) a set of Turtle beach x1 headphones just to enhance the experience a little more!!!

hope this helps
