Can you connect headsets Like Turtle Beach / Skull Candy etc Via Component?

Can you connect headsets Like Turtle Beach / Skull Candy etc Via Component?

Hi Id like to buy these but the diagram shows it connected via composite. Is Component connection possible? Thanks.

yes - looks like it connects to the RED and WHITE stereo outputs on a composite cable - the component cable has these as well so should be exactly the same.

Yep, they connect completely independantly of the video connections. There is tons of info in the Gaming Headphone threads.

Thanks for the info guys. Ill grab myself a set then. Just hope the extra length on the connectors wont foul on the wall as my tv is mounted and theres not a great deal of room.

There is about 15 foot of flex on the X1s so you should be ok.

Read this before you buy Decent Headphones for Xbox 360 *Part 2*

Lime also have the Turtle Beach X1's,they'd be a better buy.
