EASportsWorld profiles

I'm confused. A long time ago, I created an EA profile linked to an email address that I no longer use. It appears every EA game I have now uses this old EA account, but seeing as I got a new email address, I created a new profile with EA.

Now I'm left in a situation where it is associating my old EA account with my Xbox Live gamertag, so does anyone have a clue what my best action is?

Should I transfer my Xbox Live gamertag to my new EA account? How do I do this?

(I want to do the gamerface thing you see).

TIA for any ideas.

To change the e-mail address associated with your EA Account, perform the steps listed below:
  1. Click the Log In button on the www.ea.com web site.
  2. Once the page reloads, click on your e-mail address at the top of the screen.
  3. Click My Account.
  4. Click the Edit button found in the My Info section.
  5. Enter the desired e-mail address in the Email address text field.
  6. Click Save.

Re: EASportsWorld profiles

It won't let me save new info. Just hangs. Is it possible a conflict is being caused, as 2x accounts would then be saved under the same email address.

Re: EASportsWorld profiles

Should still let you change it with nothing to do with that. Maybe the website is having some trouble at the moment. Perhaps wait a while and try later or try it in another web browser.
