Where is everyone buying from and what is the status?

I haven't pre-ordered yet but may purchase off ebay if I can get a sniff of people disptaching early.

I was hoping for a supermarket bargain like last year, but the trend seams top have stopped.

They're normally advertised in the newspapers around wed/thurs if its gonna happen.

I pre-orderd mine from GAME a few weeks back and used a code to get a fiver off. Better than nothing at £34.99 plus double points and Quidco cashback.

I was going to do this as well after the brilliant deals on CoD W@W last time I bought from a supermarket. (£27)

But I don't think FIFA 10 will be as high profile and don't think the trend is as rife as it once was as you say.

So ordered from Shopto for £35 and hope to have it Thursday at the latest.

Shopto are getting stock on Wednesday.

Might see if Game have any codes flying about as they will get it to me on Thursday as well.

Popped out to Asda at lunchtime for something and noticed they had a giant advertising banner in the car park announcing Fifa 10's arrival on Friday. Doesn't give any clue as to how much they're planning to sell it for.

Pre-ordered from Game the day after the demo came out. Had a load of points so costing me £32.

"Your order is waiting for authorisation and release for packing."

ASDA - £30 at midnight launch and that price all weekend then £37.91 !

I'm thinking of just sticking with my £35 Shopto pre order with the possibility it may come Thursday morning ?

I've got work early Friday morning - so no real incentive for me to go to ASDA midnight launch to save a couple of quid and have no time to play it properly that night when I get back home.

My £29 pre-order from The Hut has moved from "awaiting stock pick" to "awaiting dispatch" so will hopefully arrive on or before Friday.

I've been tempted to order it, and probably would have if it wasn't for the threatening postal strikes. Think I'll just head down to Asda on Thursday night and grab it instead, and probably see loads of equally geeky people there!

Any idea if Tesco are going to do a smiliar sort of thing, there's a Tesco in my town but the nearest Asda is a number of miles away.

Not heard anything yet, however they did do it for £25 last year - fingers crossed time!

I normally pick up my footy games from Asdas on midnight release as they usually have a deal on.

Last year i paid £28 for Pro Evo at midnight and it was advertised in the paper a day or two before.

This year however, ive gone with Shopto at £35 as i hope to get it Thursday.

Anyone pre-ordered with Tesco Direct under their pre-order 20% off event?

Can anyone who has pre-ordered confirm how delivery etc is dealt with and when the orders actually arrive?

I've had a search about and no-one seems to know and on the Tesco website it says that the supplier will contact me to arrange delivery??

If that is the case do you think someone will need to be available to accept the delivery or will it just be put through the door as a game should fit?

Might have to change my MW2 pre-order if its going to be a hassle!

Shopto have now changed from stock due Wednesday to processing and packaging for dispatch Wednesday and are hoping to post all orders 1st class recorded tomorrow!!

Guys just made an account as i can give you updates from GAME being an employee. Stock came in this morning on all formats except 360 thats due 2 moz, price currently on systems 39.99, will keep yah updated.

Could be useful info for the future, but you wont find many people on here paying RRP for a game.

Asda & Tesco are both doing it for under £30.

How do I find out how my shopto order is going? Seems to be down as a pre-order still? Is everyone else seeing the same? My 'thehut' order didn't arrive in time so I ended up buying it in Gamestation on release day, then took my 'thehut' copy back to Gamestation for a refund. Everyone's a winner! Hehe

But yeah, how do I find out the status of my shopto pre-order? Can't see it in the Orders section yet-just the info-shy pre-orders bit..?

shopto have a twitter feed, and they said they received FIFA last night and staff stayed late to get it ready for posting out today.
