It means you can use your own 'face' on the 'Virtual Pro' mode in FIFA 10, ie your player will look like you.

Someone also told me you can use it on the 'clubs' part as well but I'm not 100% sure how accurate that is.

yes you will be able to use in clubs - you will also be able to download your clubmembers gamer faces - how fun!!

Created my face which looks ok, but the hair styles are very limited, so no hair looks liek me.

Doubt i'll use it though as i only play manager mode and i like authenticity.

this new gamer face program is miles better than the one ea used for tiger woods, some of the pictures looks amazingly accurate, will be great to play with your mates with their actual faces.

i had a go tonight and this is the result. It's made my skin much darker than it actually is and the face shape isn't quite right but the features look pretty good.

looks good mate, i love features like this in games, got my face in rainbow six vegas and the results were great with that, the fifa gameface looks in better in my opinion. we should all make a avforums team with all our own players!

Hm, I've got a live cam - does that mean I need to do this with it? Or does it mean I don't have to worry and can just use the 360 camera to take a photo in-game?

You have to get the right picture with the right lighting and of course choose the correct points on the face.
But is by far one of the most realistic photo face mapping proggies i have ever seen.
My Gameface is so realistic it's scary.

This is still not working for me. Server seems down when it comes to generating the face.. or I get a strange error message..

onUploadIOErrorHandler: [SecurityErrorEvent type="securityError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2170"]

anyone else having problems?

They do say it may not on the page in fairness....some people seem to get great results, some not - depends if you look unique perhaps?

All about the lighting - we got our photos taken in the office against a blank white wall with good lighting, all look pretty spot on!

worked fine for me, imported ok, quite happy but hairstyles are rubbish.

I like authenticity though so wont be putting myeslf in my team.

Thought about putting myself in a local lower league side, and see how i progress. If i become a star i'll buy me.

i get to the game face generation thingy after uploading and fixing the points on the face and it just says server not responding, it said this last nite too! crappy ea!!!

Even on Wednesday when I used Gameface it gave the error message you stated above, BUT the file had been saved so when I went back on the 360, I was able to apply the gameface to my created player, worked a treat.
