Xbox live cheater

Ok I just played a guy on Fifa called paisley0 and he was man utd, I was inter milan. At the beginning of the game I noticed his team had players like Valencia and Obertan so already new he had team hacked. Then at half time he brings on Cantona, Veron and Ibrahimovic as Man Utd. I have reported him on Live under the file complaint bit, is there anything else that can be done? Surely this can't be allowed..

Hacking not the right word really. It's some weird squad file workaround people do, and is a ridiculous amount of effort when you migtht aswell just play as Barca like everyone else does.

Have played against a couple of people with them. Wasn't really bothered because, well it's an online game of Fifa.

It's still tampering though which isn't allowed.

Agreed, its tampering with the game (and possibly console)

I havent played fifa for a long while (since i had 07/08 (?)) but most games have some cheaters

Didn't say it wasn't. I said it's not something that i'd complain or worry about.

And it takes no tampering of the console afaik, not sure why that's thrown out there.

was this a ranked match or player match? as I notice any squad updates I do can be used in player matches but not in ranked matches 'obviously', So if this was a player match then really the other guy has done nothing wrong.

As have I, and just quit out. Its not a hack, but a glitch when actions within the game are made. Waste of time as it makes the player look sad IMO

had this a few times usually quit soon as i notice. but i did take a guy on and scored in 2 minutes and after going 3-1 down i ended up winnig 4-3 which i was pretty pleased with. and made apoint of letting the guy know how delighted i was. with sum harsh language and and a sweaty screw you. he didnt reply

It was a ranked match mate, it's all I play

It also happen in 'Clubs'.

The only saving grace of dream team glitches on clubs is they usually can't string more than three passes together.

Probably more of an irritation to come up against a side like that than anything else.

It's just a shame EA aren't doing more to combat it.

You can understand they were busy with FIFA10 but surely it wouldn't have taken too much time to patch and fix it.

Have to agree, it's a right pain when you see someone as Accrington etc, and you do the gentleman thing by going a team around the same star rating. Only to find out he has ronaldo, ribery, and all sorts in his team.

Although you can't beat it when you actually beat them cause there mince in the first place

every time its happend to me i have noticed they are set as appear offline. so im guessing the auto squad update dosent apply when entering a ranked match whilst appearing offline

I've only encountered this twice in nearly 400 ranked games. Won them both though.
