Yep as long as u can avoid the quitters. Ive had over 1100 races online and i'd estimate That 45% have quit. Same with any game tho.

This will most likely depend on the display. Most people have made different comments on both, Probably down to the display itself along with picture setup etc etc.
Jaggies are not that bad at all for me, not tried VGA myself as my PC is using it.
However i did notice that Metallic paint give loads of jaggies on cars (what u see in demo) so never ever use it. Normal paint is 100% better, and from what i remember demo is a tad worse anyway. Any jaggies is only on cars, tracks/enviroments are very good indeed.

Re: Forza 2: Play and Help Thread 2

In regard to the buying all cars from a region achievements, does anyone know if cars bought from the auction house count towards them?

I've chosen the Europe region and some of the US and Japanese cars are only unlocked if you choose their respctive region to begin with.

yes

its easier to buy cars from auction than keep paying to swap regions

stay in europe, buy cars and mod them then sell them as you get massive discounts that you loose as soon as you swap regions

maybe 1 in 10 times you see the car you want in an auction you will get it dead chaep

i ended up borrrowing the last 10 or so cars i needed

Re: Forza 2: Play and Help Thread 2

Hi,

Happy New Year to all.

I have just recently repurchased Forza 2 and managed to pick up the SE for only £13. (God love GameStation) And i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i find the 3 cars that come with the game. I have entered the code and downloaded them but don't know where to find them. Are they in the garage or do i have to buy them in game so to speak?

Also a while back when i first had the game someone (and i cant remember if they were from this forum or not) very kindly gifted me some cars and allowed me to sell them back to him. Not in a cheating kind of way though. Just so i could get a few more cars into my garage. (As you can probably tell i deleted my game save before i bought the game again )

If that was you or you know that person or they did it for you and you know there GT could you let me know as i would like to do such a task again. Not in a cheating way you understad though.

Many thanks

Rokamunky

Rokamunky
Yep if the codes worked and downloaded correctly the the cars will just appear in their respective dealers, ie the Subura S204 will need to be purchased the same as any other, same goes with DLC. remember what the cars are and just go buy as norm.

---------------------------------------------------------------

On another matter i was playing PGR2 yesterday and while online i realised or more remembered what we need in Forza 3. The thing is in PGR2 when u select a DLC track or pack etc it tells u if someone in the lobby dont have it. Annoyed me that that didnt happen in Forza 2, so if devs are reading take note please.

Re: Forza 2: Play and Help Thread 2

Really thinking about buying this again (esp if I can get it for a tenner!!)

Is this still popular online, or will everyone move over to Racepro when its out??

Getting a bit tired of Grid, have started playing PGR4 again but I fancy another cheap racing game. Got Pure but that seems to be dead online.

Re: Forza 2 Achievement help

the whoole idea is you race to get the cars to progress through the game, you dont have to follow the races from left to right you can not finish 1 type before entering the next type.

some cars are only available in each of the zones, Europe - USA - Asia

Anyone able to take pity on me
Used to love Forza until it was "borrowed" by a Cousin
Managed to get a 2nd hand copy recently but for some reason I must have deleted by saves

Anyone want to take pity on me and gift be a half decent car (or cash for one) ?

Just something so I can breeze through the first quarter of the game

Oh - also when I got my Forza at launch I got the MS wheel too - but have heard there are problems with it - should I still use it

Not sure what problems you're referring to but my brother in law plays on it all the time without issue. There was some issue I seem to recall with running it from the power adapter but I never looked into if they did a recall on any models or anything.

Re: Forza 2: Play and Help Thread 2

I dug this out and had a go on for the first time in a while last night. I still have quite a bit of career mode to do.

When I was playing I noticed something which I am sure I haven't noticed before. When driving some of the cars (in chase cam) the engine sound was only coming from the centre and left speaker (5.1 setup). This did not happen on all cars, but I did notice it on an Evo Time Attack car (it was called something like that), but when I tried a 911 (and a few other cars) the engine sound was coming from the front right, centre and front left speakers...

It's not really an issue, but I couldn't figure out why they would have coded it like that?

BTW the 360 is connected to my amp (Denon 3803) via optical cable and the amp states that it is decoding Dolby Digital.

Yeah all the wires are connected, it's fine with nearly every car and every other game. Its just a few cars, for some reason they tend to be Japanese 4wd cars. Like I said before it's not an issue, I just wondered if it was intentional, or whether it was a bug on a few cars.

Re: Forza 2 - Play and Help *Part 2*

Still looking to see if anyone would take pity on me and gift me a car (or two)

Nothing state of the art but maybe just a tweaked up 4x4 or something

Would be appreciated

Cheers

Really struggling for credits on forza, justa couple more cars to buy....

If anyone has left this game now and has a decent amount of credits a few wouldn't go amiss sent my way.
