I have to say that playing online games has never been my Strong point, in the past my experience online has been like being thrown to the lions, i either get into a game ( FPS ) and end up with a raving 13 year old American kid who wants to do things to my mother or some dick who wants to kill all his/her team mates, but last night i decided to finally have a go at Forza online with some other AVF casual members.
My first encounter wasn't great as i didn't understand how to invite or indeed get a game with AVF members, so decided to allow the matchmaking side of things do all the work, i thought that i would be matched with other beginners with the same car, NOT, so i got my ass kicked, fare enough, but for a microsecond i was holding my 5th place until i was deliberately rammed off on a tight corner, i persevered but came in last anyway ( that was expected ).
Decided to have another go at inviting friends from AVF casuals, remembered something about looking at the friends list from that gamertag, so first i created a private lobby ( thats another story alone ) and invited three players that were already playing from that list, so we got going and i came last as expected for a few races, but it so so much fun, no deliberate ramming or cutting up, i was really enjoying it, i then realised i could pick a more powerful car from the list other than the cars i owned, picked a car that was just a few points lower than my rivals and won my first race, after that i got a bit carried away with my self in the lobby and selected another track that was 3 laps and ten miles long with the wrong type of car and my rival left, ( are there any instructions for setting up the lobby for noobs )
Sorry for my rambling, one last and most important thing.
Thank you to Y2blade for taking the time and persevering with me, too kind of you mate.
Mark.
PS, i forgot to mention how bloody good it was with the MS wheel, although i nearly tore it off the WSP at one point, lol.
