Any reason to still play Forza 2?

I bought Forza 2 on day of release. For various reasons which I don't need to get into, to this day it is still shrink wrapped (along with Fable 2!)

Forza 3 looks amazing and I want to buy it, but is it ever worth me playing Forza 2, will playing number 3 make me never want to go back or should I play Forza 2 first to really appreciate the difference?

Silly question I know!

Yes, it has customisable public lobbies, better load times and doesn't need to be installed.

Haha thanks for all the advice. Guess I'll buy the new one and maybe one day try the old.

Fable 2 is on the cards!

Re: Any reason to still play Forza 2?

I'm back playing Forza 2 myself, because I'm not getting 3 until Christmas. It's still brilliant, although I've discovered the rather significant problem that a teeny tiny scratch on my disc means I can't race on the Nurburgring any more (which is a bit of a pain, as I was going to polish off that last time-trial level).

Might be worth trying the disc repair thing most Gamestation/blockbusters etc do. I was a bit sceptical after trying those home repair kits and not salvaging a single scratched cd, but they seem to work pretty well.

Re: Any reason to still play Forza 2?

Forza 2 brought more new than the 3rd edition does, but thats only because not much has changed to the winning formula of this epic franchise. I do prefer to play Forza 2 because of the faster loading times and in F3, you can only read through all of the race tips and car history once before becoming frustrated with the waiting times.

Fable II is an awesome game to pass the time with
