Everytime I get a slide on, a number appears on screen and increases until the slide stops.

Now, of course, I'm used to PGR and it's style points, but FM3 isn't PGR and I didn't notice anything mentioned inthe HUD description about these numbers.

Nor does it ramp up my XP that I get for the race, so, I ask, what exactly are they? Drift points? What for? (etc)

does it show you a total for all slides or just each slide , i'm assuming it's showing you points for a Drift , never noticed this going to look in settings

A quick root around on Forza motorsport webbie tells me they are drift points and you need to hit the DPAD left once or twice to get them onscreen.

Sounds about right, after I was manically jabbing the DPAD trying to get the tyre temperature display up, followed by entering a wide sweeping right hander far too fast on cold rubber!!

Not sure if they are a player attribute, of no real consequence but they do show up on a leader board somewhere, probably.

You can view your Drift score and leaderboard standings after the race , when viewing the race leaderboard press Right on the D-Pad
