Disc 2 Install Problems??

Hi All,

Just me or????

Run up disc 1 (not install) and it says to install disc 2, installs up to 60ish % and then says could not load 'all' content. Tried several times now with the same result.

Ok so I thought let's install disc 1 to HDD all goes ok, load up from HDD and it asks to install disc 2, same thing happens 'could not install all content'

Had a look at the HDD under FM3 and it shows some marketplace content? and one is corrupt? deleted it and tried again but still getting the same problem!!

Game runs up ok but I cannot select some of the tracks, any ideas guys??

Disc has no marks and was fully sealed??

try deleting all forza content (including downloads) then install disc 1 to hd, load it up and when prompted install disc 2 as per instruction. then get any downloads after

I installed both first via the main dashboard and had an issue in game with disc two already being installed so I deleted disc 2 install, loaded up game and re installed disc two from the game menu and it all worked fine

Ok guys strange one this!!

Deleted everything and tried several more times but still got to about 60% on disc 2 and failed

Tried on my daughters 360 (with my HDD attached) and it loaded 1st time!!

Not sure what the problem was with mine as both are identical 360's purchased at the same time!

I guess now it's installed I dont need to try disc 2 again.

I've installed Disc 1 & 2 from Dash. Should I delete content and Reinstall Disc 2 from in game? Or does it achieve the same result?

I think you will have to reinstall from the game

yep that's what I had to do having originally installed both from dashboard

only install disc one from the dash

disc two needs to be installed from the in game menu

I have this issue as well...

Put it Disc 1, was told to install from Disc 2... fails at 60% ish, deleted everything and tried again... still fails.

Installed Disc 1 via dashboard, tried to install Disc 2 again via the game... fails in the same place.

Seems the car packs install fine but not the track pack.

Exactly my problem as you say it seems to be the track pack.

If you look into the HDD does it show as yellow triangle and a corrupted file??

The only way around this for me was to install it on my daughters 360 with my HDD

Just a suggestion but have you made sure you've got enough space on your hard drive? Just a thought!

Yep had 60GB left on mine before starting to install.

I too had a problem installing disc 2. When I first put disc 1 in, it took a while to be recognised and you could hear the dvd drive seeking quite a bit. Turned the console off and back on and it was fine.

Installed disc 1 to the hdd, ran the game and was prompted to insert disc 2. Did that and it got to around 75% and said that it failed to install all the content and to put disc 1 back in. Did that and it prompted me to install disc 2 again, put the disc in and it didn't detect it! It then said put disc 1 back in again and then prompted for disc 2 and it then installed ok

Had almost 12 gigs of free hdd space, so can't see that being an issue. Maybe it doesn't like certain consoles! Getting the Modern Warfare 2 super elite next month, so hopefully won't have any issues installing it on that.
