swapping EL`s for QM`s?

i have the dreaded "EL`s" bloody hell.i would have thought ordering them with them being out so long would get me the "QM`s" bugger.can i get these swapped ?

I wouldn't bother, they might be fine. I have the EL's too and they were ok, even with some silencer drum pads on top. And if you do have problems there are simple mods to improve things, like the coin mod.

the EL's are much better now than the launch model. I have a set which ive lent to a friend and lets just say he is a touch heavy handed (he may aswell play with hammers rather than drum sticks!) I had a quick go when i was round there the other night and they were fine. No dropped notes or anything.

If you bought them new then dont forget you have a 12 month warranty so if they break or start dropping notes, send em back. Thats what i did with mine. Both sets ive had have been EL
