Anyone got any idea why I can't hear the singer when I play on-line?

I specifically searched for a band that had a vocalist but when I play I can hear the original vocal track.

I hope this isn't how it's supposed to be, I was looking forward to hearing some amateur yellin'!

That is how it's supposed to be. The reason you can't hear the singer because of lag. The singer will be out of time with the rest of the players and this has the tendency to throw everyone else's timing off if you were able to hear them singing. It's the same for Rock Band too.

they have the option to let people hear them sing by holding in a certain button (forgot what it is) =/

But hardly any people do cos.... i'll let you figure out the rest ^_^

In Rock Band, if you hold down the triggers you can talk to the other players (and also sing if you want), but I'm not aware that such an option exists in GH:WT.

i think it works through your head set.. if your singing through your headset you have no option but to let people hear you,
im assuming you can sing through your mic and let people hear you through your headset at same time??
