Much difference between GH:WT guitar and Les Paul?

Just off to buy GH:WT, Argos have an offer for GH:WT and an extra Les Paul for £78. But is the Les Paul any different?

I've read that the new guitar (Generi-Castor) has a slider bar, but in real world usage, is this any use? Are there any other differences??

you have probs gone mate

i dont find an advantage with the slide bar

go for the cheaper option if you are on a budget

I never use the slider on my WT guitar, I find it more difficult to use than the standard buttons. The game can be played easily without it so you won't be at a disadvantage.
