ive got 2 guitara and 2 question

ive got the standard guitar and its got the normal 5 coloured buttons but also got 5 flat coloured bits, what are they for ?

also got the les paul guitar and its annoying having to tilt it to get star power as 8/10 times we will miss a note or 2 when trying to activate star power

the old guitar has a star power button to do this though

The flat coloured bits you're referring to are a slider button that can be used for some sections of the game where the notes are joined together by a line. The notes are also translucent and you need not strum to play them just move your finger to the corresponding coloured part of the guitar neck.

On the les paul you can hit the back button to activate star power instead of tilting, I personally learned over the years to tilt without any problems though. It helped a lot to play for so long on the old xplorer guitar which you had to get almost vertical to activate star power.

Re: ive got 2 guitara and 2 question

superb cheers

ive only had it a week and today got a 250 combo and then messed it up yet again with the star ower

i wish there was an option to auto do the star power as sometimes it does it on its own and ive no idea why it does that

im averaging about 94-97% on easy every time

but GH3 legends is almost impossible to get more than 100 ish G points on

Re: ive got 2 guitara and 2 question

In the early days I often considered the option of modding a star power pedal but then I decided if I ever want to play on someone elses kit then it would be a bit poor if I couldn't activate star power normally without dropping notes. Eventually it becomes second nature but its just a pain in the beginning when you spend your time looking for gaps to activate before long sections of notes.

GHIII is very tight on achievements if that what you mean, I've got 1 song to go in expert and the grand sum of around 350 points its awarded to me which is garbage, it really is the worst game I own for being harsh on achievements. GHII and GH Aerosmith were both reasonable on what they offered and the World Tour looks reasonable given the huge amount of variety in the game.

Hello mate

If you are like me and you sit down when you play I have learnt to have the guitar at a slight angle so all i do is slightly lean back to activate the start power.... never miss a note that way
