I don't know if I'm dreaming or what, but at one time I'm sure I saw a notice come up on RB2 which said if you just wanted to listen to the music, go to the Jukebox screen.
Does it exist or was I dreaming?

it did exist but had to be pulled at the last minute (speculation suggests taht this was because record labels got the arse about it) Its also beleived that awesome detection in the extras menu was originally jukebox mode (which is why awsome detection does nowt)

However, there is a work around for it.

go into modify game (in the extras menu i think) and turn on no fail and performance mode. Turn off crowd noise in the options menu (not essential but the crowd will boo a little way into the song when you miss the notes)

Then go into vocals quick play and pick your songs. let the game play the songs though.

I used this all the time in the summer when i had BBQ's. Load up a load of songs and let it play
