Exclamation Did I just delete my RB1 imported songs??

Hi all,

I think I just dropped a bit of a conker....

I was nosing around my HDD having a bit of a clear up deleting games and demos that I no longer have.

I came to Rock Bank 1 and thoughty to myself "Ah, I can get rid of that as I can see RB2 there and the size of that will surely include the RB1 songs".

Anyway, after discovering that "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette is part of RB (better late than never!), I fired it up last night to give it ago but couldn't find the song.

After a few seconds, it dawned on me that all of my RB1 songs were missing and then the penny dropped....

Amazon have an offer for RB1 and the official drums for £21.38 at the mo, so I've grabbed that just in case.

If you deleted the entire Rock Band 1 folder, then you have also deleted any DLC that you may have purchased as it all gets saved in that folder, so you will have to re-download those as well. Please don't take this the wrong way, but did it not occur to you to look at the folder contents before deleting it?

Also, and I'm not entirely sure if you realise this, but You Oughta Know is actually on the Rock Band 2 disc as it is part of that game and not Rock Band 1. You just haven't unlocked it yet.

Arn't the RB1 tracks downloaded even though you need the disc a originally access them?

If thats the case the DL should be in your DL history and you can just re-download them without buying the game again.

I thought they were exported from the disk, rather than downloaded?

I *think* it's GH: 5 that downloads them.

No, they aren't downloaded off t'interweb. They are copied directly from the disk - you buy a key to do so on the Marketplace. The AC/DC pack were an import download.
