Guys,

I've just picked up GH5 and am trying to get the lips mics to work.

I've read different opinions as to whether it works or not, anyone had any luck and if you have how'd ya do it ?

They work

You need to have a controller on first then turn on the mic and it works.

Can you explain how I do it in 'Janet & John' speak? Those mics wind me up getting them to work just in lips

I found I had to pair the mic to the console on the screen where it tells you to connect the mic and sing into it.

Worked fine.

Now I've just got to work out how to get all of the avatars in the profiles on the console into a band.

It picks my avatar up but my missus etc can't seem to use theirs!!

Are they signed into their accounts? I sort of forgot this at first as my account auto-signs me in so I always forget to sign everyone else's accounts in to get their avatars.

Just grab a different controller and hit the guide/xbox button and go to sign in and select the account (doesn't need to be live/gold/silver account).

For example I sign in using a guitar, friend 1 signs in using the drums, friend 2 signs in using a controller (for use with the mic) and friend 3 signs in with another guitar controller.
